Warframe: Archwing

Archwing is nice part of Warframe that brings ninjas to space, and straps deadly jet packs to their backs. The Archwing modes are very different, it doesn't matter what frame you take (at least right now) what matters is what Archwing you choose, as you dont use Warframe abilities, but instead get unique abilities from the Archwing. Admittedly this makes Archwing detached from the rest of the game, and feels apart from regular Warframe.

This might be changed when they introduce dual mode missions, where you switch from Archwing combat to Warframe combat (yes they said this is coming). With that update we all hope for some Warframe to Archwing integration so that it matters what frame we take with us.

What Archwing Do I Prefer?

Itzal, the clan research Archwing, its a fast (tele) close combat Archwing, which goes well with melee (which is the most powerful attack type in Archwing missions so far).
Theres also the fact that Itzal can go invisible which is perfect for those tight situations or healing a teammate. The tele makes capturing points super quick, and getting to a downed ally quick as well.
Mind you, you do need to constantly move around, dont ever stand there, and also get use to maneuvering in strange ways as to avoid missiles. Such maneuvering can also be beneficial when trying to close the space between enemies oddly spaced about.

At the end of the day, I just love zipping around at high speeds.

Hemlock Grove

Yea, thats a human arm coming out of that wolf being RIPPED in two.

Truly the most original concepts for werewolves and vampires I have ever seen, and the production/special effects sells it really well. The brutality of these races (in different ways of course) is shown in this tv series like you have never seen them before. Not only do you deal with these races though, there are others, and some magic. Its the best vampire/werewolf tv series to come out, face it Teen wolf is laughably childish, vampire diaries is as well, and the one series that had something going for it "The Originals" could be better (though I do like the originals). This is a dark, ADULT oriented, gore fest horror series, there are no trifle crushes, or high school love crap here.

Werewolves

Our werewolf MC, changing into wolf form.

These are my favorite werewolves since Wolf Lake. Remember that all to well known version of werewolves transformation where they physically shape shift into a half-man half-beast monster? Well this series said fuck that, and went the route of total mind fuck and full wolf (full wolf like Wolf Lake did). The transformation in this series is so primal and you see the skin being ripped off, and torn apart, and in the end, that bad ass wolf (human in full control btw) eats his human skin. Theres not much so far about wolf packs or wolf organization in the series, I imagine we will see more of that in season 3.

Vampires (Upir)

She is Upir, her son just ripped her tongue out with his teeth and said "You talk to much".

No doubt, if the werewolves sounded like your kind of thing, you will love the vampires in this series (known as Upir). They dont just eat blood, but human flesh as well. The vampires we meet so far are trying to develop a means of an easy access no fuss food source, the church has even been allowing it (they kill all things monster apparently or something). But theres so much more going on, so much more awesome to the whole story.

Whats even better about this series is how much like anime it is, theres no inherently good/evil person or organization. Sure one of our main characters doesn't really kill innocents, but he also just doesn't give any fucks. The church is clearly, when you watch the series, NOT the "good" guys as it were, they are fucked up in their own ways. Then theres the Upir, which when you think about it just want to live in peace, so they are trying to develop a none "kill everything you eat" approach to feeding. Sure theres a few bastards here and there that I wish would fucking die because I hate their guts, and sure they have done some evil shit (that mother). But honestly when I think about their position I can understand.

WATCH THIS SHOW DAMN IT!

Top Picks: Korean Drama

Korean Drama (k-drama): A form of T.V. serial made in South Korea, often short full written stories with endings. Western series tend to continue till they stop making money, so the story never ends. However K-drama has a set story, and only goes so far as to tell it, often leading to 20 or so episodes only.

Panda And Hedgehog

A love story, with a mysterious past, a quest for revenge and best of all, PASTRIESSS!!!! The creativity shown in this show makes you want to make pastries or find one of these shops (I live in a rural area :( ). The main characters are fun to watch and enjoyable to see together, and the cooking that takes place is also tasty.

City Hunter

A story all about revenge, which leads to love and a battle of right and wrong with morals. You have a highly skilled/trained man, dishing out revenge by finding those responsible for his fathers betrayal, and instead of killing he finds it in himself to bring them to justice by bringing their bad sides into the public light. Hes also hiding his identity as he gets a day job at a national network security center (blue house). Theres many funny moments as the love story is between him and a presidential bodyguard.

Holyland (2005)

This story, is similar to the manga Tiji-kun, you have a guy who masters an attack, and only that attack but is soon forced to learn others under pressure. Make no mistake, I said similar not the same, they are both very different, for one Holyland is very realistic with its fights, and has a deeper meaning rooted in reality as well. Its a fantastic tv show. There is also another Holyland (I think spelled with two words instead of one) that was made in 2012, its a newer remake of this, but I have not see it yet.

The Strongest K-POP Survival

The guy on the bottom has no idea the guy on top of him is actually a girl, lol.

This story has amazing and fun music, and a crazy love story where a girl is pretending to be a guy, and a guy falls for her thinking shes a guy and goes a little crazy thinking hes gay (Coffee prince is another good one). I love the struggles she goes through to keep her secret while living with a bunch of other guys and trying to survive training to become a star.

My Love From Another Star

This is the latest Korean drama I have watched, and it blew my mind. Its a scifi love tale between a 400 year old alien and an aging actress who resembles someone he knew in his past. Its a touching love story with the fun of super powers (time stopping and more) and a mysterious rich man working as a professor. Things get real crazy as people try to kill the actress, and once or twice try to kill him. The ending was amazing, and surprising.

Healer

This one is a secret favorite of mine. It has the fun story vibe of Panda and Hedgehog while have that fake, and hilarious "forbidden" love interest of one of the main characters all the while keeping that warm feeling in my heart. As the title tells, this story centers around a particular business involving mainly coffee, a small cafe, and a mans mission to not, lol, loss his fun and happy go lucky life style as his grandmother requires he either gets married, or is successful. Our two main characters happen to meet before this dilemma. In the obvious fun manner our main girl is taken as a guy, and used by our main guy to pose as gay to avoid marriage interviews.

I have watch a bunch more than this, but these are some of the more memorable ones I have watched.

Kuiba

Our hero in the middle of his great triumph.
You are probably as skeptical as I was when I heard "Chinese anime", if not more so, but don't let that hold you back. Kuiba is an amazing movie, it has what you crave, an adorable main character to love, a hidden past, end of the world possibilities, futuristic SciFi as well as ancient time lines, a relationship built on love, and finally it doesn't go to far.

-STORY-

Our story is about a man (Kuiba) who sparks a rebellion against the gods (super tech guys), however our story starts long after his rebellion failed (they satellite nuked him). Our main character is a little boy, who is training to be a warrior to fight Kuiba (who is thought to have survived). The governments are calling warriors to gather to fight. Its a fun adventure that stops before the war nicely (don't worry, there are two sequals to continue the story).

-ART-

This movie seems to be a CG movie in an anime style, it looks very nice, lots of color and creative designs. This is not a dark art style, everything is well lit with lots of light.

-SOUND-

This is not my first Chinese movie,or my second or even my third, so the spoken language did not bother me much. I loved the music, it was loud and actions when needed, while still keeping up with the slower smoother paced music needed for the heart tug moments.

-Characters-

This story is being told across three different movies, so don't expect to fall for half the characters. In this first movies you will love and feel close to at least four characters, each one is unique and interesting, and I can't wait to see more of them.

-ENJOYMENT-

Laughter, tears, and hysterical "oh, shits" followed me through this movie, I love it and want every one todo the same.

I must warn you, the second Kuiba movie has been out for a while now, but there is still no English subtitles out there for it. If on wrong the for the love of god correct me.
